of the police officers, they said it was a great celebration but it didn't get too out of hand. so they said it was fun night. being see here the remnants of the parties with the trash and debrisly thering the streets here. and -- littering the streets here and some people will have a surprise when they return to their cars. parking enforcement was out this morning and issued several tickets and put a boot on several of the cars left here overnight. now take a look at this video. this was the scene on south charles street as fans poured into the streets. once the ravens pud out a win, crowds spilled into the streets to celebrate. and folks were singing and dancing and cheering and whistling as you can here. fans climbed light posts and men began to climb trees and take off their shirts and fireworks rumbled. having a wonderful celebration.

and everywhere you look this morning in the baltimore area, you can see the purple pride. in federal hill, sherrie johnson, abc2 news. if you want to get your hands on superbowl merchandise, you will have to act fast because people are lining up at sporting good stores within minutes after the ravens won to get superbowl jersies and t- shirts and other gear. linda so is one of them and is live at modell's. linda, are you wearing a helmet? what is that? >> reporter: come on. wouldn't you be so proud to show up to the parade with one of these on. come on. i know. i just have a deal for you guys how can you refuse? they have so much memorabilia and people have been lining up to get it. it opened at 6 this morning. and they have everything from banners to locker room t-shirts and towels and bobbleheads and clocks and mittens and cups and hats and footballs everything.

jamal you worked at the arundal mills store. >> it was packed and everyone from the buffalo wind wings and dave and buster's came over after the game. >> reporter: and one woman bought two dozen hats. >> she came in and she almost wiped us out and said she was buying them for her company at work and must have had 2,000 hats and it was great. everyone was grabbing whatever they could and everything was flying off the shelves. >> reporter: and you opened the doors at 6 this morning. and you guys have a pretty goodcrowd. >> yeah. we expected it, and at 6 sure enough people were strolling in to grab some stuff. it's been great. >> reporter: how long will you be opened today? >> i believe we close at 9 but depending on the crowd. last night we stayed open until the crowd died down but we are playing it by ear and see the fans react so we are riding this wave. >> reporter: you are going to have a busy couple days especially with the parade tomorrow. but mow del's here in carney

defense attorneys for james holmes are trying to figure out who leaked information to fox news about a notebook holmes sent to his psychiatrist. he is accused of killing people in a movie theater and his lawyer will issue a subpoena to a fox news reporter. mcdonald's is rolling out the first happy -- first new happy meal. fish mcbites will be available through march to coincide with lint and lent and will be offered for the standard menu too. pizza hut is offering pizza sliders they are smaller than the personal pies and can be ordered in batches for families that want to customize the orders with different toppings. it could be a tricky commute for those in northern georgia. they have been dealing with rain and snow. several inches of snow on the ground and more is expected throughout the morning. highway authorities say they have responded to dozens of accidents and warning people to stay off the roads if they can.
